I noticed that recently I got more visit from Yahoo and it keep increase day by day even going to surpass Google which previously dominate my source of visitors. The big jump is actually happen this month, April when I checked from the web analytic. See the statistics:
Visits from Search Engine
January

February

March

April (until 21st)

Total Monthly Visits from Google/Yahoo/MSN/Live

Based on this week statistic, Yahoo already surpass Google. I just wondering, is Yahoo implement new search algorithm, more people are now using Yahoo or I successfully did the SEO for my websites.
However MSN/Live still suck.
Anyone noticed this as well?
Note: The above statistics is not for this blog.

Today I noticed that Alexa ranking has changed. They changed the way they calculate the ranking. For those who manipulate the ranking will noticed that their website now ranked lower, very much lower than previous day. However it makes the Alexa ranking more reliable and much more difficult to manipulate. The publisher would now start looking not just for more page view but more visitors. This new ranking system seems give more value to number of visit to the website. They might still consider the page view but either they put the limit number of page view per visitor or they lower down the value of it. It’s now visit game no longer page view game.
What is the impact?
- The Alexa ranking drops significantly especially the websites that has ranking > 10000.
- Alexa rank more reliable
- The Alexa boaster e-book will obsolete
- New e-book will come to market soon
- New game started
Good luck

I have just tested the saved Adsense in this page but I found that there is a problem. I’m using 2 link units and 2 ad units but when I uploaded it to the web server, the last ad unit didn’t show up. Based on the Adsense policy, we can put up to three ad units in a page and up to three link units can be placed in a page. It’s not against the program policy. I only can see the ads after I removed one of the link units. The reason I can only think is the new system can’t differentiate between link unit and ad unit. Hope they can solve this problem soon.

The past month has been a very successful one for my online business in terms of traffic going up, number of new affiliates going up, and money in my pocket getting heavier. This really inspires me because after admitting to being lazy about my business over the hot summer months, I am just slowly starting to get back into the swing of things. I am just slowly starting to return to my daily to-do list after having made it more manageable and motivating for me to complete on a daily basis. I am not fully back where I should be in terms of work I need to be doing, and yet, it was my most profitable month ever. I have to say this really motivates me to work even harder, and be more consistent if I really want to make money online. I’ve realized that you can do this too by building your business momentum.
